Enrollment:
  • Complete enrollment packet must be turned in, along with immunizations, in
    order for child to attend program and a child must be potty trained.
  • A two week trial period will be in effect from first day of attendance.  During
    this trial period, provider and/or family may terminate for any reason.
Illness Policy:
  • If child has symptoms of inflammation, fever, rash, diarrhea, vomiting,
    pinworms, lice or are suspected of having a contagious or infectious disease or
    infestation, they may not attend the program.
  • Fever over 100 degrees: Child may return to class when temperature remains
    below 100 degrees for 24 hours WITHOUT the use of a fever reducer.
  • Diarrhea: has had 2 incidents
  • Vomiting: 2 incidents in a 24 hour period
  • Eye discharge: pink eye, with mucus drainage.
  • NOTIFY SCHOOL OF ANY ILLNESS.
  • G.P.A. Preschool will not administer medication.
Discipline Procedures:
  • We will be using the "Stop and Think" method, where children are encouraged
    to: Stop, think: "What are my choices?" then Think: "I can make a good choice
    or a bad choice" then Just-do-it!  Make a good choice!
  • We encourage children to make good choices, praise them on their choice.
  • A child might need to be redirected to a different area / activity to aid in
    making a positive choice.
  • A repeated behavior problem will require a "Think Time" of 1 minute per age of
    child.  For example: 4 year old would have 4 minutes of "Think Time"
  • Children will place their names on a "Stop and Think" light.  Green indicates
    good choices, Yellow indicates "Think Time" was needed, Red indicates Parent
    notification necessary.
Dress code:
  • Send your child in clothes that will be comfortable for movement activities,
    both indoors and out.  Clothes that you won't mind getting soiled.
  • Paints, water, etc, will be used. Protective smocks will be used to prevent soils,
    yet this does not guarantee against any marks.   Please send extra clothes in a
    ziploc bag, labeled with child's name in case of a need to change.
  • Closed-toe shoes with straps only, no sandals, flip-flops, etc; for safety reasons.
Safety & Security:
  • All doors will remain locked during business hours.  
  • Lead Teacher will admit / dismiss children only to authorized individuals.
  • Liability insurance for "G.P.A. Preschool"
  • Monthly fire / emergency drills, along with occasional evacuation and lockdown
    practices.
  • Volunteers only with prior arrangements.
  • No visits or tours during business hours.
Special Needs Children:
  • Individual needs will be evaluated to determine whether G.P.A. Preschool can
    adequately meet needs.

Rates & Fees:
  • Cash or checks accepted
  • Registration Fee: $25.00 non-refundable
  • 5 day Monday - Friday / Part-day program: $100.00 per week
  • 3 day MWF Part-day program: $60.00 per week
  • 2 day TTH Part-day program: $40.00 per week
  • 5 day Monday - Friday / Full-day program: $150.00 per week
  • 3 day MWF Ful-day program: $120.00 per week
  • 2 day TTH Full-day program: $80.00 per week
  • Extra hours: $3.00 per hour with prior arrangement.
  • Tuition due FRIDAY for following week.
  • Late Tuition Fee of $5.00 per day  If payment not made in full by Wednesday of
    following week - child will not be admitted to class.
  • Late Pick-up Fee: An allowance of 2 late pick-ups per year.  Then it's $5.00 for
    the first 10 minutes, $1.00 per minute after that.  Time determined by digital
    clock next to sign-in.
  • Withdrawal Fee: A withdrawal notice is required two weeks in advance, or 2
    weeks tuition will be charged.
  • If child is absent, ill, off for individual vacation days from Dysart School
    District, etc; tuition for the week is still due in order to hold child's spot.
  • Tuition is NOT DUE for Dysart School District weeks off:  October 9th-13th,
    December 25th-29th, January 1st-5th, March 12th-16th.  Arrangements may
    be made for care on these days.
Hours and Dates:
  • Part Day: Morning session is from 9:00 a.m - 12:00 p.m.
          Afternoon session is from 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m
Full Day: 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
