"The First Thanksgiving Play" was a
huge success!  Every child had a part
to play: Samoset announced the
arrival of the "Mayflower" and the
Pilgrims.  The Pilgrims used trees to
make their "homes" and their Native
American friends helped them hunt
turkeys, grow corn and chief Masasoit
initiated the "First Thanksgiving
Feast!"  The children also made "Big
fat turkeys that became pets instead of
"dinner!"  We did have a dinner with all
of our families and had turkey, mashed
potatoes with gravy, corn, cranberries,
dinner rolls and pumpkin pie with
whipped cream.
